Is there a way to edit a DM block, and remove an attribute from it? For example, our Fire Alarm strobes have a candela rating, but we want to remove it. I went into the .dwg file that DM references, to place it, and deleted the attribute, but it is still showing up in the plan.

There is nothing special about the blocks that DM uses. They should work like normal AutoCAD blocks.

When you change the DWG file, you need to redefine the block in the drawing. We have the DM Electrical->Customization->Redefine Block in this Drawing command you can use for that purpose. That would be the first command to try.

If it doesn't work, use the standard AutoCAD INSERT command and insert the block. Make sure that it looks right when you insert it using that command.
